M12 waterproof wire connectors are electrical wire connector with waterproof function, that is referred as assembly type or molded type M12 connector. What is M12 connector? The M12 connectors are 12mm thread connectors with the function of connecting. This is small size connector, which are commonly used in the equipment with low current and small space, such as automation machine, sensor, medical device and so on.

All the AHUA M12 waterproof wire connectors, have been divided into different modes according to the different functions, installation or injection molding. In addition to the waterproof function is the most basic function, M12 waterproof wire connectors modes include inline connector, panel mount connector, molded connector, L type connector and so on. 1. Inline M12 waterproof wire connector

IN AHUA, the inline connector, we also referred to as wire to wire assembly connector. The male and female are also inline connectors, which are made up of a few parts. Its includes male core and female core, plastic housing, screw nut, o-ring and seal ring. It is important to note that the M12 waterproof wire connector is solder type. It mean that it need to solder with tool. That is no screw type, which is no enough space for screw, or even make it in screw type which is impossible to tighten up the wires.

2. Molded M12 waterproof wire connector

Molded M12 connector is pre-molded connector with electrical wire. That is keeping the same screw thread as M12 inline connector, which is compatible to inline connector. The process of AHUA M12 molded connector is the inline connector core will be soldered with cable bare wire, then over mold with PVC or nylon plastic material, which is no extra accessories. For this over mold connector, there are two steps main production processes, it will save time and cost in compare to inline connector. Surely, this connector cable will be more suitable used to the device directly, which is without cable. If device with cable, this connector cable will seems superfluous.

*Panel type M12 waterproof wire connector

Panel type connector is referred to as bulkhead connector, which installs on the panel. In fact, the panel connector, one side is panel type plug, the other side is inline connector. Such as male side is panel type plug, so the female side is inline connector. And also, the panel connector have assembly type or molded type. The assembly type panel connector is without cable, the molded type panel connector is molded with cable. The matched connector is also as assembly connector or molded connector, that is what we mean by its being compatible.

*L90 angle type M12 waterproof wire connector

In some applications, the cables need to pass through corners. Like that the angle type connector is the better choice.
