This cable connector waterproof is a pair of waterproof plug and sockets that the male is in-line connector and female is panel mount connector. The wire installation is screw lug, which is convenient for the wire installation that is no need more tools than a screwdriver. This connector is assembled with some components. The male connector is included waterproof nut, rubbere seal ring, enclosure, coupling nut, O-ring, and male connector core. For this connector, there is dust caps male or female for the connector to proof dust once the connector is unplugging. The dust cap with orange gasket is used for the panel mount connector (female), and another one dust cap is used to the male connector. 

How to choose and confirm the right cable connector waterproof for your power cable solution?

In general, when the cable wire will go through the panel and connect to the PCB inside the control box, it need a panel mount connector.  Actually, the meaning of panel mount connector is in order to mount the cable on box and achieve waterproof effect. In this way, it need to confirm the cable connector waterproof, its waterproof grade is IP65, IP67 or IP68, which is depended on your requirement according to the actual application. 

Now that have choosing the panel connector, it need to confirm the connector to be mounted on panel, is it male side or female side? How to confirm it? As usual, the male connector is used for input cable and the female connector is used for output cable.
