DC led strip connector is 2 wires male female connector, which is 5.5*2.1mm DC metal. On this dc connector, there are 20AWG, 22AWG, and 24AWG, as usual. Due to the tails of the connector is limited, the wire gauge is limited with small size. The power current rating is no larger than 4amps on 60V.
How to choose a correct wire gauge for the DC connector? It is according to the current rating usually. For example, if the current rating is 4amps, it need 20AWG wire; if the current rating is 3amps, 22AWG wire is enough.
About the cable length, it is customized as the requirement. The shortest cable is 50mm.
