This is M20 screw version panel type connector 3 pin for outdoor environment, which is waterproof with IP67 even IP68. The male is panel mount type plug, which is front panel mount that mean the hex nut is in front of the panel. The panel plug insert panel hole from the panel inside, so that male outside and terminal inside. On the terminal inside, it will be installed with electrical wire or cable wire, the bare wire will be connected the control PCB panel. And the female connector is inline type assembly connector. Due to the basic connector M20 is male with inside threads and female is outside threads, for this panel type connector, the female connector is a adapter, which is with screw nut with inside threads. In this way, this adapter female connector is only mating with the male panel connector with outside threads.
Male: AH-M20-1503FMF02122, components include: hex nut, gasket, and male connector core.
Female: AH-M20-1503MFZ02122, components include: waterproof nut, cable gland, enclosure, coupling nut, O-ring, and female core.
For this M20 3 pin outdoor connector, the screw terminal is easy for cable installation in field, which is no solder tool for outdoor. The connector is length about 63mm and wide is about 23 mm. The panel hole for recommend is 21mm*19.7mm. The connector can carry less than 15A /300V power, the wire gauge is no larger than 1.5mm². The cable jacket range is 5.5mm to 10mm. This is screw threads connector, its mechanical life is 3000 mating cycles, which is favorable cycles. With nylon PA66 plastic material, the operating temperature is -40℃ to +105℃.
This is outdoor connector that use to outdoor generately, and it is male to female plug, it will unplug when need. So that there is dust cap for the connector when unplug. Before order, please confirm whether require dust cap.

In order to the cable connection waterproof, at the inside of the connector tails, there is a cable gland, which is rubber seal ring. A correct seal ring is better for waterproof. If it is too loose, the waterproof nut can tighten up and that will not be waterproof. If the seal ring is too small, the cable can not go through the seal ring. In this way, once confirm this connector, please provide the correct cable jacket OD, so that we can choose the correct seal ring.
