Using cable waterproof connector for landscape lamp power wire is under the situation which is the lamp coming with cable or the power coming with cable, but the other side is without cable. That is mean cable waterproof connector will be used in the power output or lanscape lamp. Of course, the main meaning is that one screw type side of cable waterproof connector will be connected to the bare wire and the other size cable will be connected to power device or lamp directly. The cable waterproof connector is designed based on the L type M15 waterproof connector, the screw fixing type connection is better for the connection outdoor with more tools. For the screw fixing connection, you may need a good screwdriver to tighter up the wire on the screws, that is so easy.
This M15 cable waterproof connector is suitable for the current rating no more than 10amps, but the wire gauge no larger than 0.5mm², cabel OD no larger than 7.5mm. Why is the current rating is high but the wire gauge is small? Because at this connector, the hardware is enough to carry 10amps, but the injection molding nets tail is not enough for bigger wire diameter. If require small connector with bigger wire, M16 molding L type cable waterproof connector is a better choice. The M16 cable waterproof connector, its outer diameter of the connector similar to M15 cable connector, only a little bigger than M15. M16 is bigger hardware which can carry 20amps, is suitable for 1.5mm², cable OD less than 10mm. Meanwhile M16 is more compatible than M20 cable L type waterproof connector.

How to choose a correct seal ring is according to the cable OD, is choose a seal ring a little bigger than cable OD. It mean that the cable can go through the seal ring but can not too loose.
